Blue Beach is situated on the North West coast of the Akrotiri Peninsula , only km from the capital of the district Chania (Hania). The region known for its magnificent and unspoiled landscape, the world-renowned film “Zorba the Greek” starring Anthony Quinn, was filmed on location in the area.
